You can select your own charity
When you donate directly to a charity, you have no idea how your generosity will translate to the success of your desires. More likely than not, some of your dollars are expended for administrative expenses and not for the specific purpose YOU want them used.
You tell us to whom you want your donation to go AND the purpose for which you want it to be used, such as research, scholarship, purchase of equipment, etc. We contact your selected charity and assure that your donation will be earmarked for the purpose you intend and not for anything else…not salaries, nor pensions, nor any other administrative cost. Merely tell us what you want to accomplish. 100% of your dollars will work as you desire.
Let us select a charity
We research charities to find those with the highest percentage of donations being used for your selected purpose, such as specific medical and/or scientific research, education, humanitarian endeavors, scholarship, etc.
Tell us how you want your donation used. We’ll find a cost effective charity meeting that need.
Possible tax and other advantages to you
Whether you pick the charity or ask us to do so, in KFF you have the option to have all of your donation go immediately to the charity or instruct us to send designated amounts over periods of time. In either event, you receive an immediate tax deduction for the entire amount of your donation. For example, if you donate to KFF a stock in which you have significant appreciation, you receive a current year tax deduction for the then current market value of the stock and escape capital gain taxes. You then direct us how to distribute the money. It can be in one year or over a period of years and you can change the charity at any time.
